MsgQ is a message transmission, storage and delivery system providing secure messaging services to client applications anywhere on the available TCP/IP network. MsgQ Server handles the reception and delivery of all messages. Messages may be sent privately to individuals or to groups consisting of any number of users. Each message is stored in an MS Access database and, if currently logged on, delivered to the client. All communication between the server and the client is secured using 3DES encryption. For tracking purposes, all activity is logged in a disk file. MsgQ Server may also be customized with regard to the command language and error messages. An interactive interface allows for the command and error strings to be changed to any displayable character string. Also, message retention time may be set to any number of days desired.
